Dusty Low, the third collaboration of the Sullivan brothers, has brought their folk-rock/Americana roots to fruition. The Sullivans have been sharing their original music nationally and internationally since 2007. Jesse leads the group on vocals and guitar. Danny sings back-ups as well as holding down the beat on the drums. Sam adds trumpet and harmonica licks and also contributes on vocals, completing the Sulli Bros three part harmony. In 2016 the boys were joined by long time friend Adam Trzyna on bass, guitar, and vocals. Dusty Low is currently working on their fourth studio album which they plan to release early next year.
Jesse started on guitar at a young age learning from his father and continued throughout school playing with his share of bands, including "Danny and The Dynamics " with his father on lead guitar, and his ten year old little brother on drums. Jesse landing his first gig and learned the road in a touring ska/reggae group "Liquid Cheese" playing bass where his older and younger brother were already established. Gradually shifting to guitar and writing for the group, he needed an outlet for the folk/ alternative rock songs he and his brother were creating. "Dusty Low" was born, and has earned their place in the local and southwest music scene since. Jesse continues to write and try to grow side burns as he continues to explore new venues and sounds.
Danny Sullivan started performing professionally at the age of ten. He has been recording and touring internationally in various groups and styles of music for more than 20 years. Some of the notable artists and engineers he has worked with include: Mike Major, Cope Til, Gabe Gonzales, Justin Leeah, and Chris Murray.
Sam, the eldest of the three brothers, was born and raised in the far west border town of El Paso, Texas. After graduating from Franklin High School in 1998, he attended New Mexico State University where he studied the trumpet. He continued this passion performing with local jazz musicians in ensembles such as "Bitches Brew" and "Culture Sliver". Before turning his focus solely to Dusty Low, Sam shared the stage with his brothers in the nationally touring ska/reggae act "Liquid Cheese". Trumpet is not the only skill this Sullivan brother brings to the table. You will also hear his vocal, harmonica, and percussion additions.
Adam Trzyna is the newest member of "Dusty Low". The trio of brothers adopted the rugged talent in 2016. He rocks bass, guitar, and vocals. His previous projects "Often Orange" and "Trailer Band" propelled the ginger bearded artist into the local spotlight when he proved country music could thrive with a rock twist and turbulent twang. Together the band has traveled the world spreading their collective sound.
